my kids were monkeys one year.
I gave out
banana chips
banana laffy taffy
banana flavored jelly beans
banana's
those fruit candy's shaped in banana's
small individual banana cakes
and chocolate lollypops in the shape of a monkey

thats EXACTLY what we're doing!!! (except I'll be a monkey, too)
we have monkey totes and will include a bunch of bananas, a monkey (ie chocolate) bar (labeled as such) and a barrel of monkeys.

I wanted to do this curious george-man with yellow hat idea for my daughter and husband and myself but I thought it was too much to do for a friday purim.
Maybe ill do it in the end and I can use all these ideas everyone just posted if OP doesnt mind me stealing her idea.

There's a really funny monkey hat that they're selling in the purim stores that I'm thinking of getting for DH if I cna't find him a yellow hat. I haven't found banana chips anywhere!!

they sell them by the pound they are loose I didn't wrap them I just threw them inside the bag with the rest of the shaloch monos
