We just purchased this cottage with dh's brother, and I'm at a loss:

https://photos.zolo.ca/389-lim.....%3A40

* COUNTERS: pretty sure these are laminate. They definitely aren't any kind of granite/stone/corian/etc.

* SINK: the inspector told my dh something about it being either a melamine or acrylic, Vienna model sink. The only crevices are where the sink bottom meets the drain and the rim meets the faucet. The faucet has a spigot and a sprayer. I didn't think it was possible to kasher plastic, but now I'm hearing otherwise? Does melamine count?

* OVEN: I think it's this model: https://www.geappliances.ca/ra.....dkww. I assume I'd just scrub this out and run it at its hottest temperature for 1.5 hours?

* STOVETOP: Link posted above, by the oven. Not sure if it's possible to kasher this without breaking the top?

* MICROWAVE: I've never tried to kasher one before, I assumed you can't and it's easier to replace?

* DISHWASHER: I think this one's a lost cause - plastic interior.

I've never kashered an older kitchen before. I've been looking through the CRC website for guidance, but I would really, really appreciate input!

Assuming your LOR says laminate is not kasherable, that's just post-form laminate and you can replace it cheaply with the same. It's available with a left or right miter (the inside corner) and you can also buy end caps for it.

* SINK: the inspector told my dh something about it being either a melamine or acrylic, Vienna model sink. The only crevices are where the sink bottom meets the drain and the rim meets the faucet. You cannot kasher that sink but you replace it cheaply with a drop-in stainless sink.

That will work.

[* STOVETOP: Link posted above, by the oven. Not sure if it's possible to kasher this without breaking the top?
Link didn't work for me but it's a smooth-top. Ask your LOR, opinions vary.

* MICROWAVE: I've never tried to kasher one before, I assumed you can't and it's easier to replace?
Depend how hot the microwave gets. Ask. You can replace it for about $250.

* DISHWASHER: I think this one's a lost cause - plastic interior.
Makes a good dishrack Smile Probably cannot kasher.

Also, if you're willing to give up the cabinet space, are willing to pay for some more plumbing, and want to have 2 sinks, you could put a sink in the cabinet left of the corner.

Oven- like you said
Stove top, put all oven safe peices into the self clean, take apart the top and scrub, also the range hood vent
Dishwasher- yes you can kasher plastic tub. but replace all racks.
