My 10 year old is an advanced reader. She won't read books she feels are too boring or immature. She doesn't like mystery or magic. Looking for clean non jewish book suggestions. I don't love too much violence or a focus on boy/ girl relationships.

My dd is loving the orphan train children books.

She also likes classics like a little princess, anne of green gables, and little house on the prairie.

* All-of-a-Kind Family series
* If you can get your hands on them, American Girl books (Felicity, Adelaide, Samantha, Molly, etc.) - lots of history incorporated into kosher, easy-to-read narratives (although some of the books mention non-Jewish holidays)
* The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle
* Pippi Longstocking series
* Wayside School series

How anti-magic is she - totally dislikes fantasy, or just not a Harry Potter fan?

Dear America/Dear Canada series.

You might want to do a quick pre-read on some of the topics. They are all set in different periods of American history.

I really enjoyed many of them myself!

I second all the above suggestions! Especially the Mysterious Benedict Society series (and Trenton Lee Stewart's other work) and the Candymakers series! A word of caution that some of the All of a Kind Family books might not be so appropriate (esp. Ella's book)
If she hasn't already read all the Andrew Clements and Beverly Cleary etc...just make sure you haven't skipped anything
More realistic fiction...try books by Chris Grabenstein, Dan Gutman, Gordon Korman (some of them). I also like Erin Entrada Kelly's books but that might be more of a unique niche. I loved loved loved Fish in a Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt.

She's ahead of most of this, she read them 2/3 years ago, they are way too easy for her

The Little House on the Prairie Series (first book will seem young, but as the characters grow up, the themes are very appropriate for a ten year old)
The Secret Garden, A Little Princess by Frances Hodgsen Burnett
The Betsy Tacy Series (older girls set, there is one series for little girls and one for older girls) by Maud Hart Lovelace

Did she read the books by Elizabeth George Speare? Calico Captive and The Witch of Blackbird Pond are great. They are historical fiction.

What about books by Katherine Patterson? Bridge to Terebethia and The Great Gilly Hopkins are wonderful.

Tuck Everlasting

At that age I loved books about horses. Did she read Black Beauty or National Velvet?

Orphan Train Quartet by Joan Lowry Nixon

An Old Fashioned Girl by Louisa May Alcott

If she likes the Little House books there's a whole spinoff series exploring Laura's mother's life.

The Trumpet of the Swan by EB White

Edited to correct author's name
