I have a package and I never used it before. Anyone have a recipe?
Preferably not classic cheesecake (other baked goods, like pastries or muffins I would try). No blintzes or pancakes. Thanks!

I made stuffed shells with chopped broccoli, farmers cheese and sour cream. So yummy!

Sweet noodle kugel, mixed with feta for salad topping, baked ziti, quiche, fried donuts (only good fresh).

I made cheese babka and chocolate cheese babka using a farmer cheese / cream cheese filling.

(my recipe makes two babkas and I find the filling is enough for 1 1/2 babkas. For the 2nd babka, I fill half with cheese mixture, and half with elite chocolate spread. I twist them together for a chocolate cheese babka.)

It's a bit of an interesting recipe because it fits in my bread machine, but you don't need one to make this.

Dough:

¾ C + 2 Tbsp. warm water
3 packets (6 ¾ tsp.) active dry yeast
¼ C + 2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp vanilla sugar
¾ C margarine ( 1 ½ sticks), melted (I just microwave it for about 30 seconds)
1 egg + 1 yolk (I use 2 smaller eggs)
1 tsp salt
4 C flour

Mix all ingredients to form a smooth dough. (I use the dough setting in the bread machine).

Filling:
1 lb farmer cheese
1 8 oz cream cheese
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
drop of vanilla extract
combine all filling ingredients.

Streusel:
1/2 cup flour
heaping 1/3 cup sugar
2-3 tbsp oil
combine to form crumbs

Divide dough in 4 equal parts. Roll them out (I do it on a silpat) really thin. Smear 3 of them with 1/3 each of the cheese filling. Smear one with chocolate spread (I use elite).

Roll each up jelly roll style. Twist two together in a rope, and place in a tube pan, joining ends together. Repeat with the other, so you get one cheese babka, and one chocolate cheese.

Allow to rise for 1/2 hour in the pan. Divide streusel among pans.

Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
