Defrost, egg and bake about 35-40 min on 350

This is so funny! I work for zommicks bakery and am assuming you send to krasna cheder?
Defrost and egg them for a nice color and bake on 350 for 20 minutes or 45 for crunchier challa

Why didn’t anybody say allow to rise for at least an hour!
After it’s defrosted if it’s still cold it won’t rise. After it’s defrosted then it needs to rise for at least an hour! I find that it needs to sit out 3-4 hour for it to double in size. Put it into a much larger challa pan or on a cookie sheet.

Thanks so much! That’s so cute!! Is it the same egg challahs that they sell in the stores? Or is it a different kind?

I defrost it and let rise in a pan. Takes a long time. Then I egg and bake

Right. sorry I though you were talking about parbaked.
So it does have to rise I would say for an hour-2.
I think it's best to take them out thursday nigh for defrosting and let them rise.
It's a time savir this way

Interesting. I do the bookkeeping for a distribution that distributes their stuff. We dont service Lakewood so I wouldn't be able to tell you which school your from😉
