I am looking for a different gefillte fish stock recipe.
I buy the frozen fish loaf.
My usual stock recipe is carrots, onions, salt, sugar, water and pepper. And boil it.

But I fancy something different but not too crazy.

Bake it in a loaf tin with salsa ... at 350 for 2 hrs

I make Naomi nachmans recipe with honey, garlic and onions. It’s delicious.
Basically you sauté onions until translucent, add a bit of salt , garlic and two tablespoons of honey. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes then pour the entire mixture over your frozen unwrapped loaf and bake it.
