These were super simple to make. You could of course use your own bread dough and make your own pesto. Very Happy

PESTO ROLL-UPS

It takes only four ingredients to make these easy pesto spirals. Serve them with a small bowl of warm marinara sauce for dipping or alongside a pasta dish or cup of soup.

Nonstick cooking spray
1 16-oz. loaf frozen whole wheat bread dough, thawed
⅓ cup purchased basil pesto
⅓ cup bottled roasted red sweet peppers, drained, patted dry, and chopped
⅓ cup + 1 Tbsp. finely shredded Parmesan cheese

1. Coat a 13×9-inch baking pan with cooking spray. On a lightly floured surface, roll bread dough into a 12×8-inch rectangle. Spread pesto over dough to within 1 inch of long sides. Sprinkle roasted peppers and ⅓ cup of the cheese over pesto. Starting from a long side, roll up rectangle into a spiral. Pinch dough to seal seams. Slice roll into 12 pieces. Arrange pieces in the prepared pan. Cover; let rolls rise in a warm place until nearly double in size (30 to 45 minutes).

2. Preheat oven to 375°F. Uncover rolls and sprinkle with the remaining 1 Tbsp. cheese. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. If desired, spread with additional pesto. Immediately remove rolls from pan and serve warm.
