We don't usually read a lot of Jewish books so we don't really know which authors we like and which we don't.

We've been trying to get into having more Jewish books around.

My mother gave me some books from her house that are from my childhood. The Spiders Web... The Orphan... My son enjoyed them.

What are some good action packed books that a 12 year old boy would enjoy? We went to the local judaica store and the guy there recommended a couple of books. My son wasn't enthused about them....

Do you live in a neighborhood that has a Jewish library?
Btw- the local public library is able to order any book for you that has an isbn number (the bar code in the back). Even books published by Jewish authors or publishing companies. It’s a service our tax money pays for.
My son went through so many Jewish books thanks to the Jewish and public libraries.

Bumping

And thank you for the responses so far! I actually had no idea that I could order any book into the public library. Great idea. There is actually a small jewish library locally but I don't really know much about it. I can look into it.

And thanks for the suggestions so far.
