Rice does taste good cold (or better at room temperature). If you prefer, it is also easy to warm up on Shabbos day.

I find Jasine rice tastes good cold or room temp even days later. Regular white rice or brown rice just doesn't taste the same next day.

Basically anything? I like to serve it with Sweet and sour cabbage and a green salad but really can’t think of sides that don’t go with shnitzel
