Moving & I JUST took down all my drapes, washed, dried & packed them up in a super nice, organized way (by room)
Then realized, are curtains/drapes out of style?
Mine are more decorative then functional.
& I spent a lot of time & effort to match them to my decor in their respective rooms.
Only have for bedrooms. So they match the linen & area rugs im taking all with me.
But do curtains close a room up ? Make a room look smaller? The rooms are not very big to begin with....
Wanted to get your feedback on this. Thx

Where I live, everyone seems to be getting the zebra blinds in living rooms/dining rooms.
However, I don't think people have them in their bedrooms. I personally like drapes. I do a combo of the honeycomb blinds with drapes over it. The drapes make it much more homey, cozy and adds a lot of height if you hang them right.

Drapes for the bedroom are definitely in style! The only change is that the curtain rod is exposed. Old fashioned drapes have the curtain rod covered up by the drapes.
