I usually wear little hats or tichels, but kind of think I want to start wearing my sheitl again. Thing is, I bought it when I first got married, and it's really dark (so is my natural hair, but I don't like it so much).
How hard is it to make a sheitl a lighter color and/or add highlights?
And has anyone got tips on getting a lot of hair to stay under the sheitl?

There are many people who can add highlights for you, where are you located?
As far as fitting your hair under - can you split it into 2 braids and pin it up?

definitely possible. Adding enough highlights will change the color completely. If you mention an area, we can suggest people who do it

what kind of hair is it? not all sheitals can be lightened. also it can be very expensive

Very easy to do highlights
I find it easiest to wear a low pony but google for additional suggestions
