Hello!
Are there people here who live/have lived in Bellmore, or Nassau County LI? Do you like it? Good place for families? Expensive?
What about markets and schools?

Well I grew up in Nassau County (5 min. from Bellmore) and my bro. (not frum) lives there now. What are you looking for? What kind of haskafa? There's plenty of regular shopping and you can get plenty of kosher stuff at the regular supermarkes and trader joes. There's one bagel boss (In Merrick) and a fleishig place just closed.

I know right now the community is offering incentives for young couples to move there, I believe some help with your down payment and a year of free membership at the Young Israel. Some young couples have moved there recently but not many. For kosher shops and school you really have to go into the Five Towns or West Hempstead.
