I recently started giving my baby solids, and he makes such a mess! I can’t seem to figure out how to clean his clothes and get the stains out. I give him a bib but he manages to make a huge mess everywhere! Like I gave him some banana once and it stained his shirt and no matter how much I wash it, it doesn’t come out. There’s this light brown around the neck. Any tips of how to get these stains out? How should I be washing it in the washing machine?
First time mom....
any tips would be appreciated!!
Thanks!!

A few options:
Soak in oxi (follow the instructions on the box)
Spray with a stain remover like Shout before putting it into the wash. Don't spray it lightly, spray until the spot is soaked through. For best results, let it sit for a few minutes like that
Put a scoop of oxi clean in each wash

Tip: if you see a stain did not come out in the wash, DO NOT tumble dry as that will set in the stain permanently. Rather, line dry it and try again next time

if eating at home it's easiest to just get them down to their diaper! Prevent the stains to begin with :-) Invest in a couple of Kushies long-sleeve bibs - they are worth the $! When stains happen I try to spray with shout and rub in a little tide RIGHT away if I'm at home and able to. I let sit for a few minutes, rinse and repeat. I spray once more and try to keep the item wet until washing it (not sure if that does anything but it's worked for me).
