Ancient wall of stone
Chesed song
Shalom song
Teshuva song
Kiddush HaShem song
Bar mitzvah song
When I was a kid,
I loved the
Emes song
And
If only someone would be my friend song
And I still love those now too.
Does everyone know -
Thereβs a cd with just MMM songs? About 12 or so songs on there.
I love that too

Same!! With all the songs! They are just so usable and it makes my kids crazy
I actually just saw a novelty thing in the Judaica store - it's a big red button (like the Staples "easy" button) that says "Middos alert!" when you push it, and like five or six buttons that play various songs when you press them. I threatened to buy it for my kids

thats why Hashem gave us two lips to keep our mouths shut tight (lh song)
how does the chessed song go again? |
THe Chesed Song
Bereishis Bara Elokim, When Hashem made sea and land
He gave to us three precious things upon which our world stands
The first one is the Toyra, Hashem's wisdom from above,
The second is Avoyda, to pray to Him with Love
Chorus:
And the third one is Chessed, a kind act or deed
Going out of your way to help someone in need
Oilam Chessed Yiboneh, Hashem built the world for this virtue so fine
Oilam Chessed Yiboneh, Hashem wants His children to always act kind
It's not that hard to truly give and help a fellow Jew
If someone is less fortunate, you'll know just what to do
Pretend that crying voice was yours, the pain your very own
Then stand up and do what's right, so no one's left alone
And the third one is Chessed...
So help your parents or your friends, deep inside you know you can
It surely will light up their day when you lend a helping hand
And what you do will change the world, for you as well as them,
You've become a ba'al chessed now, a little bit like Hashem!
And the third one is Chessed...
This song is especially beautiful because it is sung in the sweet voice of Baruch Levine. Also, the harmonies are gorgeous.

"Who poured ketchup on the baby's head?" is what we use to stop the blame game.
But my favorite line from that song is, "Tatty, Mommy and Hashem will be so proud of you." It really cements the partnership, in clear words. I get a similar feeling from the Uncle Moishy English words to Ima Tagidi Li: "Each week, Hashem, I turn to You, for they're Your children too."

I thought it was a question, "How can Leah eat so much and stay so thin"
Also, love this line "Moishy's father lets him run around in shul"

I thought so too but then I checked the lyrics online and edited. Possible the lyrics online were wrong as it does sound like a question in the song
