DS will be meeting the possible future in-laws. Bli ayin hara things are going well- the girl is from a different state and its time to meet the family. What on earth does one bring. He is going for shabbos. We don't have a nice place to buy a candy platter kind of thing. Gotta get something.....
Newbie at this- help!

Flowers - which is disposable if it doesn't work out. Sorry I'm cynical, a shabbos weekend seems like an investment if they're not yet engaged..

Flowers or a bottle of wine. Assuming he is sleeping somewhere else, he should bring a gift to that family as well for hosting him.

It’s nice to bring small gifts/toys for the younger siblings. Flowers or candy platter for parents.
