This has nothing to do with trusting the vaccine. It has to do with trusting the people administering the vaccine, which is something entirely different.

J and J has had to dump contaminated vaccines twice ( I think) and this can destroy confidence in the product.

This will definitely not help improve people's confidence in the vaccine. Nobody is held accountable or taking responsibility and they are just saying it's "probably " fine to just take another one. I certainly wouldn't be running to take another one if that happened to me.

Is there a way to test for antibodies to see if the vaccine was effective? I wouldn't rush out to get another one without testing. Sometimes expired things are still fine, they always expire things sooner to give leeway.
