My four year old was on the swings singing a made up song very loudly. Thank you for the toys, thank you for my clothes, thank you for candy. She then made a loud burp and continued right back into her song. Thank you for burps!!!

We were driving down a bumpy road and dh wasn’t careful on one bump and we all literally hit the roof… my four year old looks at me and says in all seriousness, “maybe we should just walk, mommy.”

I put my finger in the blender an hour before Shabbat. (I was very, very, VERY, tired!)
I started shouting and freaking out while trying to stem the blood. "HOLY ****, HOLY ****, HOLY ********!!!!!!"
Suddenly, I hear a sanctimonious 5 year-old voice sing out from the bathtub: "imma, those are not nice words. Instead, we say 'holy cow.'"
And he made me stop. Because he was right. But I don't usually say bad words at all, let alone around them. So how did he figure this one out????
