There's a trivia game called The Chase on ABC. The latest episode contained the following question which I found amusing and decided to share.
"Oysgezoomt" is a recently coined Yiddish term referring to the feeling of being fatigued by what?
A. Video communications
B. Wearing masks
C. Staying indoors
Is this really a word?

Never heard the word, but the answer is A.
It's not a real word, but it's a real way we'd make a word.
I have been on zoom meetings all day. I'm oisgezoomt. Don't ever want to see that blue icon again.

Sounds like something in a Mishpacha contest.

Did some massive research and found this
DEFINITIONS
worn out / tired from too many Zoom meetings / gatherings
EXAMPLE SENTENCES
"We're all a bissel "oysgezoomt" these days" (https://www.facebook.com/ShulCenter/posts/were-all-a-bissel-oysgezoomt-these-days-/2734122470048984/)
Can we meet by phone instead? I'm oysgezoomt.
Jewish English neologism on analogy with Yiddish words like oysgematert and oysgemutshet, both of which mean 'exhausted'. "The earliest sighting of 'oysgezoomt' seems to be a May 1 [2020] Twitter post by Bay Area brand-consultant Nancy Friedman, who credited the coinage to her cousin." (https://jewishstandard.timesofisrael.com/the-yiddish-word-of-2020/)
Yiddish oys 'out,' ge-[stem]-t (past participle); English Zoom, a video platform

Funny, but I prefer zoom meetings to real ones. I just space out and do my own thing while everyone else talks. You can't do that with irl meetings.
