Hi,
I just got a pasta maker and I want to make black pasta-because I am bored and I think it is cool. What can I use, as clearly squid ink is not kosher. Hoping to not use food coloring.
I am going to make pink pasta with beets, green with spinach, and orange with carrots. Any other ideas for me?

Honestly, I'd add food coloring (the good kind) before I added charcoal to my food!

What about using purple carrots for purple pasta? You can make some more yellow with extra egg yolks.

There’s a pasta brand called “explore” and they actually make black bean spaghetti that’s very black and it’s kosher. Google it
