Ours this month is $150. Dh said I have to be more careful about leaving unnecessary lights and a.c. on or I need to be the one to pay the bill
P.s. we live in a small apartment.

You think if other people have higher bills your husband will change his mind?

Sounds like you have bigger fish to fry.

regualr air condition are huge energy guzzlers. Even with being careful to only keep open the ac in the room we were using we are at over $150. In our bigger apartment it is about $300

I would rename the poll, not everyone has con-ed... not everyone is from NY Smile.
Translation: what is your summer electric bill (ex. con-ed)?

We pay an insane amount in the winter. $300 for our electricity bill. For a 3 bedroom house. And we use the fireplace all day long, as well.
Tell him that some have it worse 😂

We have solar panels!! Bh!
Didn't cost me anything to install, I pay $85/m and I have an extra minimal bill from electric company in the summer months when we go over a certain usage.
I'm very happy we did it!

Why didn’t it cost anything? What’s the downsides?

About 500 shekels for a 2 month period, so that would be roughly 75 dollars a month. We use ceiling fans a lot and thankfully our wall units are very cheap to run and we dont need them all that often.

We have a lot of wall and ceiling fans, and don't have air conditioning. So far this summer it has been fine, but there are times when we really suffer. Blame the landlord. But the good side is that our summer electricity bills are less than in the winter, though we don't find we need to use much heat either.

We live in an apartment with 2 air conditioners running. It can easily cost us over $100 a month in the summer, and we've definitely gone up to $150.
Does your a/c have an energy saver option? If so, that can also help lower costs.

I live in a decent size 5 bedroom house in New Jersey. The summer is very expensive. In July/August the electric bill is a good $400 if not more. We’re very happy in the winter when it’s down to $100.
Our gas bill is very low in the summer. Sky high in the winter...
