(Posting anonymously cuz just posted this question on another forum)
My seven-year-old had Covid 9 months ago. He had absolutely no symptoms - we only tested him because the rest of us had it, and we wanted to be able to visit my parents.... Three months later, he suddenly started complaining about noises in his ears - either ringing or a siren-like sound. (He does a great job doing the sound-effects for us Very Happy ) I had just read a letter to the editor about such a post-covid symptom, so took him straight to an ENT the next day. She could find no reason for the noises, and a hearing test we did was perfectly normal. However, it's six months later, and he's still suffering. Every once in a while it flares up and really bothers him.
Has anyone had any experience with this? Any leads that might help us deal with this are welcome!

Also anonymous bc I've posted about this before. I have sinus issues I've not had before. I had fluid in my ears, and my usual allergies are causing ear popping, sometimes dull fleeting ear aches..I didn't think my ent was helpful bc at that time there was no fluid (I'd been taking Sudafed) just that tympanogram showed my eardrums were a bit rigid.

Sounds like neuroinflammation . I would try high doses of magnesium, methylated b vitamins, plus extra b1, b2 and b12.

Covid is known to cause post infectious neuroinflammation. I have experience with post infectious neuro inflammation caused by other infections. Magnesium and ttfd (a specific form of vitamin b1) have really helped us. The other b vitamins act as cofactors. You can also try a chiropractic adjustment or a craniosacral session.
