I find myself throwing out bananas so often because they go from unripe to mushy brown so fast before they get a chance to all be eaten. Is there a container that helps keep bananas from going bad so fast? TIA

Try keeping them in the refrigerator.

Buy fewer bananas, and eat them faster.

Make banana bread, banana muffins, banana cakes, banana cream pie...

It's enough to drive you bananas! 🍌

Yes, look up Green Bags.

But also, I just freeze the overripe ones for baked goods and smoothies.

Does the refrigerator keep them fresh longer?
I can't buy less then a bunch and only my baby eats them. So 2 or 3 out of each bunch end up getting thrown away. We don't like anything made with bananas.
Yeah, definitely going bananas over bananas.

I only buy a few at a time. Like 2 or 3. But if I do end up with very ripe, spotty ones, I love making these muffins:

They are really delicious and relatively healthy-ish....

My father claims they are not ripe until they are going brown and soft, and that's the only way he will eat them. They are a lot sweeter at that stage.

I say they are ripe when they have a lot of small brown dots. Once the banana is half brown or so, it is not fit for straight consumption. I like to freeze and blend with milk.
