My daughter has 3-5 tiny brown spots
larger than a freckle but no bigger than a nail head
[even smaller]
she wants them removed
anyone has any experience?

My experience is that it bleached the surrounding skin and left me without pigment in that area permanently. Maybe thongs have changed in the last 10 years though so ask a derm.

Please go to a dr.
Don't want to scare you, but I know someone who went for regular eye exam and Dr saw what was termed "a freckle in the eye". It was melanoma.
He was operated on and is fine bh.

OP said it's on dd face near the eye, not in her eye.

If you're in NY, there is a person Dr Popper who goes around to different areas. He removed these. It's nearly painless and doesn't leave any scar.
