I know I’m waking up a little late but I’m looking for ideas for Wednesday and Thursday this week places we can go for the whole day and then come home. Some things that my kids like
Bike riding
beach
Climbing activities
We’ve done all the typical‘s around the area Rockland Lake indoor climbing places
Thank you so much I know I can Google but it’s so much better when there is personal experience

Wild Duck Pond has a biking trail . It’s right near Saddle River NJ.
They have picnic tables if you want to eat lunch and a playground .

Hike to a waterfall or lake? We have done 7 Lakes many times

Echo lake has paddle boating/park
Walkway over new tappan zee bridge with bikes
Jills Ceramics if it’s rainy. Call first to see if she’s open in her store or she will send you home with paints

Also Bushkill Falls is beautiful. Best choice by far but it’s about an hour and twenty minutes away.
