I feel awful! One of my kids colored pen on a relative's leather couch. I tried soapy water without success. Rubbing alcohol took a little of the ink off, but it started taking the leather off, as well.
Any tried and true suggestions? I'm kind of desperate.

Try hairspray. Just spray it on and wipe it off... good luck!

Thank you! I was thinking about hairspray. Do you have experience on using it on leather? I don't want to take off the leather with the spray.

Yes, I've done this on leather and it worked without doing any damage

Try amodex. Its a small bottle that you can purchase on amazon. It works amazing on clothes, better than anything else I tried. I guess you can test a small part to see if the leather fades. (Almost anything more abrasive than water/soap will cause the leather to be slightly ruined! )

Don't use these harsh abrasive products. Buy leather cleaner spray or wipes.
