I have a 1.5 year old and he barely eats anything. He mostly eats fruit, cucumbers and sometimes yogurt, eggs, or rice . He won't even touch basic food like noodles or a sandwich
All suggestions welcome

One thing that sometimes works for me is I take a little baby bowl (the kind that stick the the high chair tray) and I put some of the food they like and hide some of the food they don’t and sometimes they just eat the whole thing without really realizing. Like I’ll put potatoes and put in some chicken as well that’ll end up getting grabbed when the potatoes are grabbed

Do you have him sit at the table with the family? That often helps little kids want to eat like everyone. Maybe he wants regular food not just bland basic food. Also is he still drinking bottles? He might be too full from milk, if he is lessen the bottles.

I find kids eat when other people are eating. I offer 1-2 meals of safe foods, and otherwise I just sit down to eat and let her join me and eat out of my bowl.

eat from the same bowl as her - mommy's food tastes best
let her play with food. put it down on the high chair tray and let her play
try baby led weaning or parts of it
or the ellyn satter method
try smoothies where you can add anything you want
and most of all try not to drive yourself too crazy
some kids are pickier than others but I've yet to see a kid starve themselves
if they are hungry they will eat

Have you tried taking a bite from the food yourself? Toddlers want mommy's food.

I know people are quick to jump on the therapy train but I did want to point out that some children need ot/feeding therapy to help them learn to tolerate different textures, some kids need to learn how to eat, chew, swallow, etc.
