Recently I have noticed mold growing in my shower. It’s on the floor, walls, shelves, and shower seat. It’s black, grey, and pink. There is also mildew on the floor. I have never been great at cleaning the shower and I have to admit I’ve neglected it. I also haven’t been ventilating it properly Can't Believe It
So here’s my question: I started scrubbing at it and it’s coming off very slowly, with a lot of the spots being stubborn. Also the corners are hard to get to, and my tiles have natural holes in them that are now filled with mold. It’s seems kinda impossible to get that out. Do I try different cleaners and methods, or should I call a mold specialist? It’s one shower, is that too small of a job to call someone down? Do I need to regrout also?
Would appreciate advice from people in the know! Thank you!

(Also I’m in the Lakewood area for any specific recommendations)

I have it, use it for other things... but I don’t know how that can get deep into corners or holes in tile.

Spray the mold liberally with Tilex and let it soak for a good few hours. Then brush with a hard bristled scrubbing brush. Repeat as many times as needed

Bleach kills mold. Use a spray bottle for it.

Bleach does NOT kill mold. Honestly I'd call a specialist. It's worth the investment into your health.

There’s a spray you can buy in the cleaning section called ‘mold and mildew remover’. Spray it on liberally all over your shower at night. Let you sit and soak, the next morning the mold should be gone. Wash the shower really well and it’ll be good as new. And for future don’t let it get that bad, make sure to ventilate even just by keeping the bathroom door open between showers

Will try this and see if it works, if not I’ll call a mold specialist.

It kills what's in my bathroom, which I guess is not mold then.
