My 6 mo dropped a bottle feeding. He wakes up later in the morning and can go 3.5 hours without a bottle. He is getting only 4 bottles a day instead of 5. I am going to be starting him on solids soon.

Sounds great. What’s your question.

He's getting less formula because he's sleeping later and goes longer in between feeds. Don't they need more oz of formula w day the more they weigh?

Give him more ounces per feed! (How many does he currently take a time?)

See if he wants to increase the quantity he gets at each feeding. His stomach is getting larger. He can take more food in one go, and have longer breaks between meals.

6 months is old enough to know when he's hungry. 6 X 4 oz is 24 oz a day which is fine for 6 months. I wouldn't worry
