Baked French toast recipes would work too.
All my cookbooks save two are packed for renovations, and I find myself with leftover challot that will go stale unless I do something. We are not a crouton or bread crumb family, so bread pudding it is!
What is your favorite recipe?

One of my dc hates chocolate, so I will have to pass.
I've been burned (pun intended) by recipes online before, so I didn't look online. But I am open to online recipes that are tried and tested

Yes, I’ve made this before. It freezes well and is amazing hot with ice cream on top. Absolutely a dessert then 😄
Kosher Palette has a creme brûlée French toast casserole recipe that I’ve eaten at a friend’s house but never made myself. I can look it up and type it out later…
