The same as any other nice clothes. Wear to work, wear to go out with friends, wear on a date night, but when you pick up your beautiful but sticky and dirty little kids, make sure you change into something more forgiving.

My kids are usually never dirty and sticky 🤷🏼‍♀️ I go from my car to shopping to watching my kids play... I don’t have this problem. I don’t have a baby spitting up on me tho

I don’t wear a white or any light skirt.
Even if the kids aren’t dirty, the park bench is, the side of someone’s car….

Depending on the fabric, it might be possible to spot clean it throughout the day. In my opinion, that is too much work for a skirt, but it's an option.

Not everyone wears white skirts. I’d never for this reason.

I love light skirts. Heck, even my black skirts look like they survived a tsunami after a full day of being a mom. Think of peanut butter of banana on black. Can't win.
I'm thinking of designing and patenting plastic skirts for young moms.

There is a heter for washing kids clothes in the 9 days because they dirty themselves, that also includes the mom's clothes which my toddler touches with her dirty hands. I need as many clothes changes as her in a day.

This
And whenever I go out like appt or such and pack an extra onesie, stretchy whatever for the baby I always say most important is mom should have a change of clothes too... and yes, I’ve taken along an extra skirt, light top & tights when I had very vomit prone babies... (and it has come in handy too)

I didnt read the whole thread, I just wanna bring awareness to be careful with light colored skirts. I once saw in a bz supermarket a woman with light beige skirt that had a huge red stain in the back. I was soo embarrassed for her, just ppl be careful.

I buy them in pairs. you pretty much have to wash them each time you wear them.
