I can't say in the past that I specifically bought my kids more than one pair of sneakers for camp.

My DD happened to have last year sneakers, and we found a new pair on Zaras for 12.99, so I felt those were worth purchasing. She took up two pairs, so she has a spare. Plus slides, natives, and Shabbos shoes.

I always get 2 pairs of sneakers. It's good to alternate shoes and have what to change into if one gets wet.

I think if they have another shoe type of thing (not slides) but floafers or natives then it’s fine

Thx all !

Next question totally not shoe related ..

When it’s time to do laundry washing underwear and socks does he safety pin the socks together and put it into a mesh bag or just throw it with all the other clothing. I presume they put all shirts in dryer. Let’s hope it doesn’t shrink!

My son has no clue about the laundry department so any other tips I can give him to explain how he should Keep his laundry items together neatly

There are these sock holders you can get for the laundry. Here's a link from Amazon, but I think you may be able to find these in the laundry aisle of your local supermarket for less $$$..
