She’s always been this way so it’s nothing new.
Shaking her vigorously, yelling her name, booming and vibrating alarm clock, she sleeps right through all of it.
More often than not I have to check if she’s breathing because I panic why she isn’t waking up.
I need a solution I’m going crazy.
It’s so hard for her to be on time for school and she just can’t help it.
Anyone has a solution please??

I’m very strict with bedtime for her. It doesn’t help. She sleeps 10-11 hours a night which is a lot for this age.

I have no experience with this. But at a minimum have you spoken with your child’s pediatrician, just to rule out any potential health issues that this might possibly be related to your daughter’s deep sleeping.

Thank you, I actually never thought of asking the pediatrician. I will do so next time I visit.
I’d love to hear from anyone with this experience, I can’t be the only one!

It definitely sounds like something that needs to be addressed with the pediatrician if this is happening after sleeping 10 hours a night.
I'm sure a blood test is in order. Good luck!!

But even if this is something that’s been happening every since she grew out of “toddlerhood”?

It's possible. Maybe a vitamin deficiency or sluggish thyroid.

Sleep apnea? You can sleep for many hours and not feel rested.

Yeah put the good old fear of God into her Can't Believe It
OP it def sounds medical. I'd probably even see a functional Dr if the regular ped doesn't find anything after a full blood panel

Good luck op yes would definitely see pediatrician.
Full work up.
Yes could be sleep apnea too.
Would then see a nutritionist if nothing shows up.
Something is off.
How does she eventually get up?

My kids this age all sleep 12 hours a night. Have her sleep 12 hours a night, meaning full 12 hours, you can't count from when she walked into bed, only from when her eyes closed. Do this for 2 weeks and I think I can guarantee she'll wake up by herself each morning.

This site says kids this age need 9 to 12 hours of sleep. Some kids do need the 12 hours.
