Does anybody know of a sheitl/fall gemach preferably in Lakewood, if not then anywhere in NY. Also, do you know what "qualifications" you would need to have to be able to get something from them. I am desperate for a fall and finally thought I could get one but then I got into a car accident and the car is totalled and we need a new one now  . But we are not mamish poor so I don't know if that means I don't qualify?

I think it's a Michal...dark brown...
oh also someone gave me a black one, but it's too small (the head part).. I think it's a custom...beautiful hair..

I know I am responding to a very old post, but I thought this might be of use to someone.
I just received an email referencing a gemach established by Adena Parnes, l'zecher nishmas her father, Tuvia Ben Baruch Yosef z"l
If you have a sheitl you no longer wear, and I presume if you need a sheitl at a reduced price, contact her at 414-687-8462. It appears she is based in Lakewood.
I apologize if this is well known to the Imas - I had not heard of this.

1-Rochel Sofer in westgate has a sheitel gemach.
2-Rochel Feller on Glen Ave.
3-bertayazdi@gmail.com is a new gemach in Brooklyn.
