I went years ago , I'll try to recreate our itinerary here.
Tons of amazing restaurants. we went to a lot.
Day 1 - arrival
went to the main shul for mincha.
At night we went to the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps (was walking distance from our hotel)
Day 2
Tour of jewish ghetto with www.romeforjews.com
Was amazing.
Then st Peter's basilica and pantheon on our own
Day 3
Coliseum
Borghese gardens
Day 4
Vatican and Sistine chapel with RomeForJews tour guide

We also went shopping a few times and hung out in the ghetto when we were eating out.

Enjoy! I loved Rome.

This was our itinerary according the Google doc I made in 2018:
Day 1: land, check into hotel (The Home in Rome, kosher bed and breakfast, highly recommend!). Check out Spanish Steps, Piazza di Spagna, Trevi Fountain, and/or Piazza Navona. Be sure to check out the Trevi Fountain both day and night, it's gorgeous in both lights.
Services at synagogue 7:45, dinner at Baghetto Meat

Day 2: Coloseum (get the Roma pass to save money and time waiting on line). Check out Piazza Venezia. Quick lunch at Alice Pizza. Hebrew museum in the Jewish ghetto. Dinner at Bellacarne (one of the best meals EVER)

Day 3: palatine hill and Roman forum (can use the Roma pass for this too). Lunch at Baghetto milky. Visit Castle SantAngelo.

Have fun! We had the best time, and the food is truly out of this world. Pasta will never be the same.
