Can anyone recommend a great tour of the Old City- with someone who is frum and really makes it come alive?

Unfortunately the best person in the whole world for that, Esther Schlisser, obm, passed away about a year ago. I remember hearing about someone named CHaim Mageni, but dont have his contact numbers. Have a great trip!!

I took a tour with Esther about seven years ago, and she was excellent. Sorry to hear about her Petirah. Anyone else have a contact for Chaim Mageni or another great tour guide for the Old City?

try calling artzeinu tours, they're amazing

They have a guide named Chaim and it may be the same one you're talking about, they could tell you. It's a frum English speaking company and they do Old City walking tours. We just used them for a bunch of tours in December and January.

We used Artzeinu for tours at my sem, they were great!

There is a lady who does Tunnel tours, I'm not sure if she'd want me to give out her info though. If you PM I can tell you her name, maybe you can request her from the tunnel tours people. She is amazing and very knowledgeable.
