I'm wondering how common it is to work 40 hours. So many women I know work less than that so I was curious how many are truly full time.

Because it's the summer I'm only hitting about 39 hours but technically my job is 40 hours a week and oh my gosh am I busy seasons forget it It's probably 50 to 60 and the only reason I'm right now working less than 40 is because I got an amazing new coworker who stopped me going in 60 hours a week

I enjoy working and would work 40 hours if only there were better/cheaper childcare options!

55-65. More than 40 does not appear to be an option in this poll.

Between 15 & 20, voted under 20.
I used to work full time but with paying childcare for those hours (if you can even find suitable childcare) and just finding time to be a parent it just wasn't very worthwhile.

35-6 hours plus 4-5 freelance weekly, plus another 8 hours once every two weeks.
So 40-42 hours weekly on off weeks and 48-50 hours when I work the extra day.

I am in my mid thirties, work 30 hours a week and put in the most hours a week from my circle of friends and neighbors besides for one who is a school pyschologist and puts in more hours plus has a commute but she is off the whole summer.

I put 35-39, but it's a full time job and sometimes goes overtime.
I would have chosen an option of 35-40

Officially 32 hours. That way it doesn't often go above 40.
If I officially worked full time, I hate to think what the hours would be.

About 50 hrs. Sometimes 40, sometimes 60-- depending on the season.

I work approx 36 hours over 5 days, but by mistake voted 30-34. My "commute" is about 5 minutes.
