I guess I never realized how tiny my son's head is ! A size 1 is huge on him! Is there a way to shrink a yarmulka? Or is there a brand that has smaller sizes? Brooklyn or online. Thanks!

Are you putting a yarmulke on a newborn? I don't even know anyone who buys 1s b/c they're so small. In general if you wash and dry a yarmulke it shrinks - just toss it in the dryer. This has happened to me more than once when I didn't want it to.

If you wash and dry it’ll get misshapen. Wow how is 1 huge? How old is the kid?

Did you get one or a few? Many times the same size label will be different on the head. Can you take him into a Judaica store and see if they can help you there?

I wouldn't put a yarmulke in the dryer. Maybe reach out to ikippah customer service. They are very nice.

Also, keep in mind it'll fit differently when you cut your son's hair.

Ikippah has a size 16” flat. I believe it’s a bit smaller than size 1
