Hi,
I recently moved to S Florida and will be working in a school. I just found out they don't offer employee discounts.Does anyone know of a school in the Boca area that gives discounts to teachers working in their schools?

do you qualify for step up or VPK? step up is a income based scholarship from the government and vpk is first come first serve for kids going into pre-k (two years before first grade)

I think they all do, Torah Academy, Hillel, Donna Klein, Katz Yeshiva High School

Did you sign a contract with them yet? If you haven't, ask them to offer you a discount, in the contract. Everything is negotiable, even if they say they don't offer discounts. Remember, you're offering them a service; they should be trying to entice you to work for them.

It’s one of those schools and I was told now that they won’t offer any discounts. I am really at a loss. I signed a contract already but I won’t be able

Is your tuition going to come out of your paycheck?
If yes, they should offer you a discount because they are saving money on you.
When I worked in a school in NMB, this was a given in every school.
