I’m looking for a mango recipe
Would like a sorbet but I don’t have an ice cream maker and in the past it became a solid mass.
Anyone have a recipe for a frozen mango dessert that is easy to serve.

Blend frozen Mango cubes into food processor. Perfect consistency.
I also sometimes make mousse. Recipe is 3 eggs, 1 cup sugar, bag of frozen strawberries. But I use any fruit, Mango is a favorite.

But if I refreeze frozen mango to serve later it will be hard.
I like the egg recipe but don’t use raw eggs anymore.

Thank you. It’s a good idea for pops. Was hoping for something more like a dessert I can serve on Shabbos. .
It just may not be possible.

If you blend it with creamy liquid it's not rock hard. More like a froze fruit and very enjoyable.
If you want to freeze into a dessert, I suggest a loaf pan with 3 layers of fruit blends.

If you don't let it defrost its a good consistency. Maybe do individual cups.

I just made this and my kids are obsessed!
4 ripe mangoes
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 3/4 cup orange juice
1 1/4 cup sugar
blend until smooth
at this point there are 2 options. 1- pour into ices molds or freeze pop bags, and freeze.
other option is to freeze in a pan, when frozen break it up and reblend quickly, and then put into little cups or something. First option is harder and great for eating off the stick or out of freeze pop bags. second option is creamier and can be eaten by scraping with a spoon.
