Last I heard NY and NJ aren’t letting schools be remote this year.

How is that going to work, when deblasio said no more snow days, they will be virtual?

Most Orthodox schools will stay open, without any precautions, even if it's against the law.

Good.

These are private schools.

If anyone is worried, keep your kids home.

No, but there are different rules for private vs. public schools.

Neither can one drink before the age of 21. Please!

After the first initial lock down and a late school opening, our schools were all open. Our camps are open.

If you want to punish kids because someone refuses to vaccinate in Staten Island, dies that make sense to you?

Is there a way to test for the delta variant? Are they testing everyone for the delta variant?
If not then how do they know that people have the delta variant? And if they are only sending a limited number of samples to the state for further testing then why are we going to lock down millions of people (many of whom are already recovered with antibodies/t-cells or vaccinated) based on a tiny sample size?

Oh, and there is still a hearing on wed in NY Supreme Court about remote learning so lets see what the judge says in this case (which is different than the private school case in federal court where the judge hasnt ruled yet)-- https://pix11.com/news/reopeni.....-out/

I don’t see this info anywhere, and even this link isn’t coming up when I google. Are you sure this is real?

I don't blame you. The virus is crowding hospitals in Florida but they are not locking down.
OTOH, isn't it sort of cheeky to totally ignore the medical establishment when they endlessly tell the public to vaccinate but then run to the hospital when the virus has it's way?
Everyone clearly does what they think is best for them but ultimately they need to rely on someone else.
The government should at least allow the doctors that want to give unapproved drugs to open up their own treatment facilities which probably won't be covered by insurance but maybe interested parties will donate or sponsor the treatment. Who knows, it may actually be an improvement.

I have heard from nurses working in Florida hospitals that they are empty so please provide evidence that they are crowding.
