I’m just worried about durability. According to the store we’re using granite can get discolored easily and quartz could crack under heat. I’m not worried about the heat since I anyway never put a hot pot or pan directly on my counters so I’m used to trivets. But then again I heard someone’s quartz cracked from using a pizza maker so that worried me. I want something long lasting and practical but also pretty.
Dh claims that natural is still prettiest and suggests we go with granite that has the least movement |
What about quatrtzite? It's natural and there are some that have a lot less movement than granite.
