I understand that counselors don't get paid much, and a tip is a nice way to show appreciation, what amount is the norm to tip daycamp counselors?
and do you tip all counselors or just the one that you feel deserve it

All the counselors.
$15-25 a month depending on what their role was. This is for daycamp.

In local daycamp? I give $20 per counselor. Don't know about the deserving part. They work hard but also have a lot of free time in elementary grades. There's shiur counselor, baking counselor, a&c counselor etc and the counselors aren't even with their bunks that time. Preschool is very different and they work a lot harder.
edit - About deserving, nope, some counselors don't deserve it, but I give anyways. The ones that really deserve it might get more money or a nicer thank you.

Ours gave us guidelines. $40 per counselor for the whole summer.
