Two questions-
I heard it’s very hard to find space in the schools. My kids aren’t in elementary yet, would I still have a hard time? Not for this upcoming year
Also, what are the options for kollel? Do the kollelim pay well?
What about teaching positions? Is it easy to get a job? How do they pay?

I’m familiar with the Hebrew Academy. If your kids are preschool age, it shouldn’t be hard to get in, as long as you reserve spots in advance. They are generally looking for new teachers each year, so finding a position shouldn’t be too difficult. I don’t know exactly what they pay.

Different kollelim pay different amounts. The pay is decent. But please do not move here assuming you can get into a kollel. You should try to arrange this first. You can’t just drop in.

We would only move once everything is figured out. How do I find out more info on the kollelim?
And what’s the difference between the schools?

Typically if you apply early enough in the winter you can get your kids into school unless it’s a particularly full age such as 2’s where they fill up within a short time of open enrollment . Their are plenty of Kollel’s but don’t move until you find one as paying slots are hard to get into.
Both schools are always looking for teachers but pay isn’t great .

Ydt is more to the right, Hac is more of a community school.
Start with Torah Umesorah or one of the other national organizations that help with placement

How do I get in touch with those? Torah Umesorah’s website doesn’t say anything

Are you coming from BMG? They have people who help with OOT kollel placement.
