Do you eat or drink foods with the Triangle K Hechsher thats not 100% one ingredient only?

See poll please.

Theres a thread here discussing use of Triangle K.

If someone calls the OU or CRC, or the like, would they offer an opinion of the Triangle K Hechsher?

TIA

My father would bring home their cranberry spray. My in-laws wouldn't. Make your own decision or ask your rav.

You need a third option: I don’t touch anything with triangle k, no matter what the ingredients are.

I drink Vintage seltzer which I believe is Triangle K.

Otherwise nothing else.

That said I don't live in BP...

This (but in CH not BP)
I am told that triangle k is the same as no hechsher at all.

No, not usually. It’s just not done that one will publicly criticize another hashgacha.

I think CRC has a list of many Hashgachos on its website. L:ike a hundred or more.

Am I correct in assuming that the ones they have on their website, they approve of, and the ones not on their website, they either havent heard of, or dont approve of?

What some kashrus agencies have is a list of approved hechsherim. Of course, it's possible that they're not up on all the hechsherim out there but if something as big and not exactly new as say, the triangle K isn't on the list, that could mean something.

When I worked for a kashrus agency zillions of years ago the answer to a hechsher's acceptability was "recommended" or "not recommended."

When people asked why it wasn't recommended the answer was "it doesnt meet our standards."

Rinse and repeat.

The plain is ok. Not everyone uses their flavored seltzer. Upstate, shoprite is full of the flavored seltzer and out of plain because many dont buy it.

I feel like I'm missing some context here. Every other pareve ingredient is ok?
