Exploding anger Exploding anger Exploding anger

I was making my mini baked zitis for mm and after starting to mix the cheese into the warm pasta I was greeted by an unpleasant, unwelcome odor emanating from my fromage. which means I wasted a whole box of pasta, lots of tomato sauce, and time. I opened another package and took a whiff. needless to say, I am now nauseous. the expiration date is fine, and there's no mold.

my husband said, well, it's cheese, maybe it's supposed to stink. but, well, it's mozzerella and muenster. so I don't think so.

Bummer.
Maybe it's the store? I noticed some groceries have that as a recurrent problem. I guess they leave out their products too long before refrigerating.
So I learned which groceries have the least frequent occurrence of moldy products and I just shop there.
Why don't you bring in the unused packs of cheese for a refund?

oh I once had that, I put half a container of cottage cheese into a recipe and then realized it didn't smell good.
when I took it back to the sore, the guy's like, what, you didn't notice it was spoiled until you ate half the container!? LOL
