I want to take a poll to see what time people go to sleep and get up during the week. I currently go to sleep at around 1am and get up 7:30am which is not enough sleep for me. I have a hard time going to bed earlier because I feel like I need some down time after my last kid goes to bed which can be 10pm. My goal is to be in bed latest 12am and get up 7:15 so I can have about 7 hrs of sleep. I’m also looking for tips on how to change habits and to become better person like to daven more or be more organized etc.

In a poll you can only choose one so if I go to sleep after midnight and wake before 7 I can’t click on both options.

I go to sleep between 10 and 10.30 and wake up between 5.30-6.00, I get woken many times by kids so I'm always tired.

Asleep after midnight, up before seven, and usually woken up a couple of times during the night by my young children who need snuggles or help in the bathroom.

I have a sleep disorder and am used to functioning on very little sleep. It's hard though because it definitely takes a toll on my physical and mental health. But the way I figure it is someday my kids will all be grown and out of the house and be"h I'll have a couple of decades of being able to sleep as much as I want then (bathroom breaks aside. As if pregnancy + giving birth isn't already hard enough on your bladder).

This is my made up theory....every hour of sleep I get before midnight is equal to two hours after. I need 8 hours of sleep to function but 12-8 for me is not the same as 10-6. Maybe because I am generally woken up by kids after midnight? Who knows?

I go to sleep between 10:30-11:30. I wake up currently around 7:30-8, but only because it is summer and my kids don't have camp or school. During the year, we wake up at around 6:45/7. I am 9 months pregnant and am up at least twice for the bathroom or aches and pains. Sometimes for hours. I am always tired.

Funny thing is, when I was in seminary I was known as the kid who goes to bed at 10 no matter what and wakes up at 7 before everyone to chill in the quiet. Yeah. Motherhood changes some things.
I try to tell myself that tired is just a feeling, its hard but its not the end of the world.

In bed 9-10, fall asleep bet 10 and 11. Up at 6:00. Sleep is grossly disrespected in the US and I’m glad people are realizing how important it is.
