I actually found the French Alps to be more beautiful than the Swiss Alps.

Agreed! We stayed in Aix-Les-Bains, France - where you can see the magnificant French alps. There is a jewish community with kosher food there so not having to bring your own is a plus.

France has many beautiful places. The views along the French riviera are stunning, and you can stay in nice where there are plenty of kosher restaurants.

Other beautiful places:
Scotland, Greece, parts of England

This little remote beach we went to once on the west coast of Ireland called the Nun's beach. (Ok, most of Ireland's coastline is amazing...the Giant's Causeway will take your breath away too).

I didn't find Spain beautiful at all, I will have to go back and find the nice places. I was in Malaga (outside of the actual beach, horrible, just lots of modern hotels) and Gibralter. (which was interesting)

I don't think there is one place that is the most beautiful...so many wonderful places.

Antarctica - sorry if that's cheating, but it's true. When we went to Iceland afterward, I was underwhelmed because it came up so short relative to Antarctica.

As for more accessible places: New Zealand, Maldives, Turks and Caicos, Alaska

That's so cool. (No pun intended) How did you do that?

Most beautiful for me was Redwood state park. It literally took my breath away. It was a feeling I've never felt before: almost spiritual.

Wow, I really have the travel bug now. Probably going to wait a decade or two until my kids can manage on their own and I can do very long trips. Hopefully Covid will be over by then 😅 and plus we’ll be super wealthy and travel in style Very Happy
