We went grocery shopping today and passed another woman who was not slim. 5 yr old dd whispered to me “mom, that lady is having a baby”
I just said simply “I don’t think so” and moved on to the next thing.
I happen to be on the thinner side (size 8…) but I don’t want my kids thinking that any one who’s isn’t skinny, is pregnant!
I wouldn't do much about it because many kids that age think that. But I always tell my kids that they can't speak about other people in public. They need to wait until we are home or far away from whoever they feel like commenting about.
