I have a family coming to me for Shabbos. They will be Eating meals out the house. They have a newborn baby and they said they will bring all the equipment.
I have a separate guest suite and I won’t be seeing them so do I need to prepare any kind of food? They are not family and I don’t know them. They are coming in for a bris and will eat all the meals at his parents

I would offer them cake or fruit. (or leave a basket in the suite).

I keep a welcome basket for guests, with toiletries they might have forgotten to pack, water bottles, and a couple of packaged snacks.
The odds are that they'll only be using the beds, and you won't see them much.

I don’t think you must do anything. If you want you can leave a couple bottles of water and some type of snack like fruit or chips etc.

They left drinks. Nuts and candy for us
Was really nice

Drinks, snacks, fruits, cakes, toiletries - I always leave a nice basket with mouthwash, a little liquid soap, Advil, Band-Aids, perfume samples, and other little items, books to read or a magazine/newspaper.
