My toddler splashed in puddles and now his shoes smell terrible. Is there any way to get the smell out or are they gone? They are adidas brand if that makes any difference.

Have you tried washing them? Many sneakers are machine washable.

You Can wash them and then stuff them with newspaper or paper towels to dry them. If they still smell buy sneaker balls to put in they are great for odors

You can buy an odor neutralizer spray on amazon. They absorb the scent

They need to be washed. Adding deodorizers doesn't work.
